  （一）今日主角词“Various”，考研出现次数11次

  (adj)各种各样的，不同的

  E.g.: That compulsion has resulted in robotics -- the science of conferring various human capabilities on machines.（2002年 text2）

  （二）主角词延伸词

  (1) Variety：（n）多样；种类；变化；品种；变种

  E.g.: Hallucinogens have their primary effect on perception, distorting and altering it in a variety of ways including producing hallucinations.

  参考翻译：幻觉剂主要影响人的知觉，通过多种方式扭曲或改变知觉，其中包括产生幻觉。（1997年text3）

  (2) Vary: （v）改变；使多样化；变奏；变化；变异；违反

  E.g.:While the quality of legal journalism varies greatly, there is an undue reliance among many journalists on interpretations supplied to them by lawyers.

  (5) Varying：（adj）不同的，多种的

  E.g.:Forty-four states have lotteries, 29 have casinos, and most of these states are to varying degrees dependent on -- you might say addicted to -- revenues from wagering.

  (6) Invariably：（adv）总是；不变地；一定地

  (7)Varied：（adj）多变的；各弅各样的；

  E.g.: A unity of objectives that nonetheless respect the varied peculiarities of each country.
